Below is the minimum equipment that
NorLSAR members are expected to carry during operational and training periods. Due to NorLSAR being funded from
charitable donations alone it is not possible for the organisation to supply standard
equipment to members. Norlsar try to keep the equipment
requirements to a minimum in order to reduce personal cost. Failure to have the specified equipment could result in a request from a team leader or search manager/co-ordinator to vacate the search area. It is
important to note that the equipment listed here is for foot Searchers and other specialist teams will require different
equipment as well as the equipment specified here.
